7 sweet buns with vanilla quark and strawberries


Ingredients


Dough:

  • 110g milk

  • 20g fresh yeast

  • 25g sugar

  • 250g wheat flour

  • 40g of soft butter

  • 1/2 lightly whisked egg

Quark filling

  • 1/2 lightly whisked egg

  • 30g vanilla sugar

  • 250g quark

  • 50g sour cream

  • 1 egg white for glazing

  • 1-2 packs of organic freeze dried strawberries

Dough

  1. Place milk, sugar and yeast in pan, warm up for 2 minutes on low gas while stirring. Take off the gas.

  2. Add flour, butter, 1/2 whipped egg and mix together. If the dough is too sticky, add extra 1 spoons of wheat flour

  3. Line baking tray with baking paper. Roll the dough and divide into 7 pieces. Form into rolls and flatten each piece. Place on lined baking tray .Leave in warm place for 30 mins to raise.


Quark Filling

  1. Place 1/2 whisked egg, vanilla sugar in the pan, warm up on low gas and beat gently with electric hand mixer. Take off the gas

  2. Add quark and cream, beat until all mixed well (around 40 seconds)

  3. Tip 1-2 packs of organic freeze dried strawberries into cup, add 2 spoons of hot water to hydrate the product, mix.

  4. Add organic freeze dried strawberries into quark cheese , mix well


Assembling

  1. Preheat over to 200 degrees

  2. Press down each dough to make a well for quark filling

  3. Place quark filling on each dough

  4. Glaze each bun with egg white

  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden

  6. Cool down before serving
